Mohammaden Sporting of Bangladesh with  Tripura XI

The friendly match between the two teams started at 3:40 pm on Sunday, 8th July 2012 in presence of notable guest like Governor of Tripura Sri D.Y. Patel, Sri Jiten Choudhury, Sports Minister Sri Sahid Choudhury and other members of Tripura Football Association (TFA).

Afzal Ahmed of Bangladesh sporting club scored the only and decisive goal of the match at 37th minute of the first half. Although Tripura XI tried hard to equalize the scores in the second half, but finally Mohammedan Club won the match.

Tickets of price ranging from Rs. 10 to 30 would be sold. The estimated budget of Rs. 2,80,000 is fixed, but that is likely to exceed.  On July 8, Sunday the friendship match between Bangladesh’s Muhamedan Sportings and Tripura XI would be played at Umakanta Ground on 3 pm.

The man from Udaipur, South Tripura got success to cross English Channel in the year 1998 and the Gulf of Torrunous in 1999. He took 15 hours 17 minutes to cross the channel on England to France route. Mr. Naha is a Physical Instructor by profession, presently residing at his home town. He is actively related with the Disaster Management programme of the Government of Tripura. He is also related to the Red Cross Society. He is trained as a Life-Guard From RLSS(Ind). Mr. Ganesh Naha of Tripura was invited to the 15th International Professional Swimming Teachers’ Certificate Course, organised by Singapore Swimming Teachers’ Association at Grassroot Club in the year 2007.
