Agartala, 24.02.2013 (T4U Report) : The result of the Tripura Assembly Election – 2013 is expected by 12 noon of the February 28. The counting for 60 constituencies will commence at 8 in the morning in 17 centres simultaneously. The biggest centre is the U. K. Academy Building of Agartala where the polling results of 14 constituencies of the West District will be counted in 14 halls. According to information the postal ballots will be counted first. It may take 2 to 3 hours of time. Thereafter, the number of votes recorded against each candidate by the EVM will be added to the number of postal votes received by him. The phase of counting of postal ballots is the most time consuming one. The poll results of the constituencies of Sadar, Bishalgarh and Udaipur sub-divisions could be known later. It is because most of the polling personnel have been engaged from these area and they had to cast their votes in postal ballots. But in reality , result-hungry people need not be waiting so long. Besides announcements by the Commission , there are private sources to make data available much earlier. The counting agents engaged by the political parties will send information outside as and when they come to know it .Based on those information one can assess the trend of the ultimate result much before the scheduled time.Thus the final outcome may well be expected latest by 9-30 in the morning of the 28th
